It is all about the use of control system to get the job done in any department. There are various advantages as well as disadvantages of adopting automation in animation field. We will discuss the benefits as well as drawbacks of automation a little later in the post.

Some people complain about the loss of employment due to this advancement. Now, instead of employing human labour for a given task, a programmable robots are used in various fields to help an organisation to increase the efficiency of its work and ensure error free results.

In this post, we will throw light on the changes that has taken place due to the influence of automation in the animation industry. As compared to the earlier times, a more realistic and expressive characters are being used on the screens in an animation industry in the present time to make the experience of people more entertaining.

The animation industry is majorly linked to gaming and film industry. A lot of animation movies are made by filmmakers of Hollywood as well as Bollywood. And when automation is used in creating the real-life characters in a given movie then it leads to expressive characters and also it gives a better experience to the movie goers. This trend has made a remarkable change since its implementation in the inception of 20th century. Mostly time travel movies involve the use of animation to show the virtual character from the future world. Also, Sci-Fi films make use of animated characters to show people from other worlds.

Movie industries have to use large servers and data centres infrastructure to store a humongous data. Also, complex data sets and animation studies are required to execute the work of producing animation films properly. Due to the growing demand of visual effects in the various films, a lot of opportunities have been generated for the people who love to invest their time in the animation field.

When it was first begun in the beginning of the 20th century then only the frame movements were used to show the motion pictures on the screen. These were hand made characters which were made to move on the theatre screens to give a realistic effect to the viewers. But in today’s time, computer generated graphics are used on screens to enable automatic movement of cartoons. In the next generation, the entire film industry will rely on automation.

In the animation, the physical features, movement, and body language of characters are automatically generated using programming. Artificial Intelligence helps in moving the things on screen. The use of simulation gives a real film character and they are made to perform their acts without the use of humans. This not only saves the labour cost but also makes it easy for an animator to portray the emotions in the way that is required.

Similarly, animation in the gaming industry has made its influence in a significant way. Human behavior is shown on the screen by virtual characters to create a real-life environment. Due to the introduction of powerful technologies, it has become an easy task to copy the human intelligence.
